Muted Might
Hush...
My voice, a whisper, yet it's deemed too loud,
Women can't assert, a trait offensive
When I express my distastes
They call me arrogant
They advise, " be kind and humble"
But I speak my passion out.
They label me arrogant, they call it pride,
They suppress my freedom to express
With pointing fingers and wild rebukes
But same words, different voice, it's approved.
If I don't agree with them
How come its loud and Pride.
I'm just being me, expressing what's true,
Likes and dislikes, just like them, too.
But their opinions bloom, while mine silenced
By pointing fingers that hide my might.
