By The Window Side
By the window side, the world unfolds
Of joy and hope, of pain and isolation.
Every view is a story untold
Life's ebb and flow like its rolling horizon.
Inside the window is never different
Same stories! varied shades of grey.
Some explored, some yet to be.
Some fading, some silenced by pain.
The car moved slowly, houses ran back
Haunted by the woes of past.
Losing hearts to the never-ending miseries,
Courage faded like a fleeting light.
I saw a face with wrinkles and tears
Under the golden hues of twilight
Like a silhouette of agony, in the balcony
Of a house nestled by nature's bosom.
Whispers of Departed beneath her gate
People hung on her wall, numb and lifeless
Her face, a map of trials and strife
A testament to life's uneven self.
Passing by, I felt an ache,
My window pane drenched in rain,
A pang of sorrow, a heart that breaks,
For the stories untold, the pains unspoke,
I glide past, the window's frame
A horrid canvas, etching life's flame
Each house a chapter, unique and worn
Stories of hurdles and small small gains.
A tapestry woven, thread by thread,
Shared stories, shared soul, in endless haze.
In window's gaze, I met my tangled maze,
Sitting numb, by the window's side.
