Life wasn't fair to me

Nor to anyone else I know 

It adds more to what you have 

But deprive you of what you need. 

I wish all day, "If Life was Fair"

When you need money

It makes you beg 

And when you don't 

It gives you plenty 

I dreamt all day, "If Life was Fair"

When I needed a shoulder 

It gave me a pillow

Forced me, pick a shoulder 

When I got used to my pillow

I cried all day, "If Life was Fair".

I yearned for a life 

But it showed me the corpse

I longed for Love

But it could afford only lust.

I struggled all day, "If Life was Fair"

I loved the books

But it burnt them all

Forced to choose 

Though it was not even a choice 

I doubted all day, " If life was fair".

I had dreams, I adore them

But it shattered them all in just a while

I picked them up to build them up

Too broken I couldn't mend.

I felt all day, "If life was fair".

I  sense a  sad dusty storm 

When I walk alone in this new way

From Deep inside, it burns me up

Is this it, the ultimate end! 

I hoped all day that "Life was Fair"
