A cry in the void
My eyes wept every night My heart throbbed every second My lungs felt like exploding in pain My pillows strangled my wails. No one cared for my pain My Years of waiting, Counted useless and worthless By the useless and worthless society. They saw the people around But not a burning heart They cared what the people say But not my side of life. When I needed a shoulder I saw only fingers pointing at me When I strayed for empathy I heard only tongues cursing me. I wished to be heard But I was totally ignored I cried to be felt But I was alone in my agony. They went on imposing customs When I was begging for my love. They said you reached your glacier But they never saw my thirst. Their glacier was like sewage Which never quenches my thirst. Now I feel like a pile of flesh With an empty heart wailing for love.
